FAQ

Ordering & Pre-Orders

How does pre-ordering work?
Because we grow microgreens fresh to order, we use a pre-order model. You place your order online, we plant your batch, and deliver it to you within 7–14 days. Pre-orders close each Sunday for the following week’s harvest. You’ll receive an email confirming your estimated delivery date after checkout.

When will I receive my order?
Most orders are ready within 7–14 days depending on the variety and current growing schedule. We’ll confirm your estimated delivery date by email after your order is placed.

Can I cancel or change my order?
You may cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before your scheduled harvest date. After that, your batch has already begun its final growth stage and we’re unable to cancel. To make changes, email us at hello@microfreshpdx.com as soon as possible.

Do you offer subscriptions or recurring orders?
Yes! We now offer weekly and bi-weekly fresh microgreen subscriptions. Just select your preferred delivery frequency at checkout when placing your order.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

How much does delivery cost?

What if I need to skip a week or pause my subscription?
You can manage your subscription in your account here.

The Product

Are your microgreens organic?
We grow using certified organic seeds and organic soil with no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. We are a small home-based farm operating in compliance with Oregon Department of Agriculture guidelines. While our farm scale falls below the threshold requiring USDA Organic certification, we are committed to fully organic practices in everything we grow.

How long do microgreens last?
Stored properly in the refrigerator, your microgreens will stay fresh for 7–10 days. Keep them in the quart or pint container they arrive in, away from strong odors.

How are they packaged?
We currently pack in compostable farmer’s market-style pints and quarts.

Do I need to wash them?
A gentle rinse before eating is always a good idea. Do not rinse until you’re ready to use them. Moisture shortens shelf life.
